The Inquisition is an extremely customized MUD, offering a variety of unique features. Travel allows your character to navigate automatically to a destination. Movement in the game is threaded, meaning that your character moves slowly (or faster, if you change the pace) through rooms. RPXP is a system for earning experience points through roleplay. There are numerous factors taken into consideration, such as your emotes, says, and even thinks (that's only the tip!). Remember system that lets each character have a unique intro appearance (such as "a young man with brown hair") and allows each person to recognize them uniquely (such as "Cousin Garen" or "Garen Thalin"). Complex emote system allows targeting other characters, and even objects, to compliment the remember system. Crafting systems make characters the main source of items and equipment. From smithing, to jeweling, to cutting wood and working it, the options are immense. Characters have the ability to tool created items, fully customizing the object's appearance. Traits and appearance allow you to specify the physical appearance of your character, all the way from the color of your hair to the shape of your eyes to your teeth. A unique magic system that is a complete break from simple spell memorization and mana pools, requiring mages to master their art in secret to achieve potentially remarkable power. A mail system that allows characters to contact another through post, and even send packages and other items. A banking system that permits payments directly to/from one bank account to another, be it a character or guild account. It also allows periodic payments, including wages from any guild one might be in. Included as well are taxes for any owned property, and any fines levied from the law enforcement. A concealment code that allows you to obscure your identity to varying degrees, using hooded cloaks and masks. Beyond these features is a focus on roleplay. The systems in-game are intended to support and further roleplay, taking it first into consideration.
