On The Inquisition, all races are human.  People are distinguished from the lands they come from and their heritage.  Each region has a distinct and unique culture.  View the race files available from the left navigation panel.

Because the game takes place in the capital city of Lithmore, the prominent race available is Lithmorran.  Foreign races have associated costs, and are not recommended for new players.  These cultures expect understanding of the respective culture as well as Lithmorran.  If you are a new player, the Lithmorran race is a stressed suggestion, and comes at no cost - allowing you to start off with a reserve of spendable XP.   Please note that Daravi, while listed, is not an available race.
